Paintings by Dede Falcone

July 11- August 3 2019 -

The work of Dede Falcone depicts the engagement and intimacy between placement, displacement, connection, and fragmentation of human connectedness to the natural environment and in respect to relationships, interactions, conventions and constructions therein.

AND SO IT IS offers figurations of living “in between”. The show dives deeply into the fluctuating states of having and being. These abstractions are vivid, atmospheric outpourings which gives viewers perspective of internal investigations, and dichotomies of self: the tangible and intangible -in equal parts- as documentation and code encryption to an unregulated internal monologue.
